Couple recalls building Houston Habitat for Humanity home alongside former President Carter

Warm weekend ahead, then colder air arrives for much of next week ~ Mia
SUMMARY: Good morning, San Antonio! Meteorologist Mia Montgomery reports patchy fog this Saturday morning, expected to dissipate mid-morning. Expect more clouds than sun with lunchtime temperatures in the mid-60s, peaking around 72°F later. Winds from the southeast may gust up to 20 mph. Sunday will start in the low 60s with morning fog, leading to sunny skies and highs in the mid-70s, but windy conditions with gusts up to 35 mph. A strong cold front arrives Sunday evening, dropping temperatures to the 30s overnight and highs in the 50s Monday. Monitor for possible light rain and wintry mix mid-next week.

‘Austin’s music town square’: Waterloo Records owner reflects on enduring legacy

Waterloo Records & Video in Austin, established in 1982, will transition to new leadership and a new location. Caren Kelleher of Gold Rush Vinyl and Trey Watson, CEO of Armadillo Records, will become co-owners, and the store will relocate from 600 N. Lamar Blvd. to 1105 N. Lamar Blvd. in spring 2025. Founder John Kunz, at 73, will step into a chair emeritus role after overseeing the store’s operations for decades. The new owners plan to continue the legacy of Waterloo, a beloved Austin institution, blending the city’s past with its evolving music and media culture.
