SUMMARY: Texas experienced the largest population growth in the U.S. between July 2023 and June 2024, adding 563,000 people. The state’s population reached 31.29 million, up from 30.73 million the previous year. This growth was driven by 158,753 more births than deaths and 85,267 people migrating domestically. Texas also had the third-highest international migration gains, with 319,569 newcomers. The South, where Texas leads, saw the most growth, driven by international migration and domestic migration. Overall, net international migration accounted for 84% of the nation’s 3.3 million population increase, continuing the trend of rising international migration.

Chief Meteorologist David Paul is live with how long this cold rain will last around Houston

Dallas weather: How much more snow will we see?
