SUMMARY: The U.S. Supreme Court is deliberating on Tennessee’s 2023 law that bans medication for treating gender dysphoria in minors, which may violate the 14th Amendment’s equal protection clause. The court, comprising a conservative 6-3 majority, heard arguments from various parties, including the U.S. Department of Justice and the ACLU, claiming the law discriminates based on sex. Radar imaging and other tools revealed depressions and limestone, suggesting grave sites. While 28 prospective graves have been identified, this number may change. The cemetery, now fenced and accessible by a walking path, will be included in tours, and a final report will be released in 2025.
