3 North Alabama figure skaters prepare for Special Olympics | November 29, 2024 |News 19 at 6 p.m.

The next several mornings will be freezing cold all across Central Alabama.
SUMMARY: Temperatures are currently in the 30s with wind chills in the 20s, but highs this afternoon will reach the 40s, with Birmingham at around 49 and Tuscaloosa near 50 degrees. Despite sunshine, a cool breeze will make it feel chilly. For tonight’s playoff game at 7:00 PM, temperatures will drop into the 30s, exacerbated by wind chill. Tomorrow morning will be colder, with lows in the 20s across various regions, including the metro area in the upper 20s. The Iron Bowl kickoff will see temperatures in the low 50s on Sunday, with colder conditions expected next week.
