Four men shot in Miami; police search for clues

Pinellas County gives Tampa Bay Rays Dec. 1 deadline to commit or terminate stadium deal

Third Palm Beach County deputy dies three days after crash

SUMMARY: Deputy Ignacio Dan Diaz, the third victim in a deadly crash involving Palm Beach sheriff’s deputies, died five days after the wreck. Diaz had been in critical condition at St. Mary’s Medical Center. The crash occurred when Diaz, Corporal Lewis PZ, and Deputy Ralph Waller were working a traffic detail on the side of the road. A woman driving an SUV struck all three men. Diaz, who joined the force in 2004, was the only one to survive initially. The other two deputies had over 36 and 18 years of service.
