SUMMARY: San Antonio International Airport has introduced advanced parking technology, becoming the first airport in the nation to implement such innovations ahead of a busy Thanksgiving travel season. Developed by Metropolis, the system allows travelers to park without traditional check-in or check-out processes, using license plate recognition for seamless entry and exit. Travelers can enroll their vehicles online, receiving notifications upon arrival. Additionally, an innovative bag check service is available in the parking garage, enabling passengers to drop off luggage before heading to the terminal. This service is available for select airlines and requires passengers to arrive two hours before their flights.

San Antonio International Airport passengers will now be able to experience expedited check-in services, reserve parking spots, park using a QR code and check bags at the tunnel to bypass airline ticket counters.
