Donald Trump projected to win presidential race | FOX 7 Austin
SUMMARY: Fox News and the Associated Press have declared Donald Trump the 47th president of the United States, as he secures 277 electoral votes, surpassing the 270 needed for victory. At Howard University, supporters of Vice President Kamala Harris faced a somber realization that her campaign was likely over, especially after losing crucial swing states like Pennsylvania. Trump celebrated his victory in West Palm Beach, Florida, heralding a “Golden Age of America.” House results remain uncertain, but Republicans are projected to take control of the Senate, intensifying Democratic frustrations.

No clear lead for Democratic candidate Sean Teare in close race for Harris County DA
SUMMARY: The race for Harris County’s next district attorney between Sha Tier and Dan Simons remains unexpectedly close, with only about a 1% difference. Many at Tier’s party headquarters left early due to the prolonged uncertainty, as they anticipated a quicker outcome. Tier expressed surprise at how late the night has gone but remains hopeful that his lead will grow as more precincts report in. In contrast, Simons remains optimistic about his chances.
