SUMMARY: The City of Decatur has postponed voting on a new zoning ordinance proposal due to concerns from Councilman Billy Jackson about the changes. The ordinance rewrite, initiated years ago to replace outdated regulations, faced delays from changes in the city planning department and the pandemic.
