Community steps in to help Florida mom of 14 kids with home repairs

SUMMARY: When Andrea , a mother of 14 , sought community for home repairs after recent storms, the response was overwhelming. Most of her children are foster kids, with 11 either adopted or in the of adoption. Earlier this year, she raised funds for a new conditioning system through Angel Link. the hurricanes, her roof began leaking, causing significant , falling ceilings and flooded classrooms. A handyman and John Starri from Steadfast Roofing stepped in to assist with repairs at no cost. Hurt expressed gratitude for the community’s generous support in helping her .

Florida early voting wraps up with 38.14% bump from 2016 numbers | Florida

SUMMARY: In Florida, early voter turnout reached 5.35 million, a 38.14% increase from 2016. Mail-in saw 2.83 million ballots cast, marking a 3.74% rise since the last presidential election. Elections mailed 3.53 million ballots, up from 3.35 million in 2016. However, mail-in ballots are down 26.9% to 2020’s pandemic peak. Among mail-in votes, 34.9% were by and 41.7% by Democrats.
