Record number of early voters show up on first day for Kentucky
SUMMARY: Early voting in Kentucky is ongoing, with 20 sites in Jefferson County and additional locations statewide. Voters may experience long lines, as some waited up to two hours recently. Secretary of State Michael Adams urges voters to take advantage of early voting to avoid congestion on Election Day, anticipating longer waits then. He hopes to reduce the percentage of voters who traditionally vote on the last day from 79% to around 50%. Early voting today is available until 6 PM and will resume tomorrow from 8 AM to 6 PM.
