Registration applications now open for Bay St. Louis short-term rental properties

This regulation aims to ensure that rentals meet safety and zoning standards, with over 100 properties already registered since the application process began in October. The city emphasizes the importance of registration for verifying that online listings accurately reflect the properties and for gathering safety information, such as visitor capacity. City officials are particularly focused on ensuring that these rentals follow proper codes, especially regarding emergency evacuation protocols and other safety measures.
