Despite efforts since 2019 to partner with the National Independent Soccer Association, further delays have emerged as improvements to the stadium are needed. CEO Tim Bennett emphasized the initiative’s potential benefits for local youth and expressed disappointment over the setback, having invested significantly into the project without requesting funds from the city or state.
