Don't toss those expired COVID tests just yet, FDA says
SUMMARY: The federal government is distributing its seventh round of free rapid antigen COVID tests, which have been circulating for about a month. If you have an expired test at home, you may not need to discard it immediately. The FDA suggests checking their website for possible expiration date extensions, as the listed date indicates when the test is expected to function accurately. This advice has been prompted by reports of tests approaching their expiration dates, reminding users that they may still be valid beyond that point.
The FDA is encouraging people to check its website for extensions.

Co-defendant takes plea deal in YSL RICO trial | FOX 5 News
SUMMARY: In the YSL RICO trial, a significant development occurred as Aquarius Nichols, one of the six defendants, accepted a plea deal. Nichols pleaded guilty to conspiracy under the RICO Act, reducing his charges from seven, which included murder and gang involvement. He received a 20-year sentence, with seven years to be served in prison and the remainder on probation. This plea comes shortly before his 30th birthday. The trial faces complications, including a potential mistrial after a witness mistakenly read damaging information aloud. The judge has yet to decide on the mistrial as the trial resumes.
More twists and turns in the YSL RICO trial. A Fulton County Superior Court judge is still deciding whether to declare a mistrial after a witness read something he should not have while testifying last week. Days after that incident, one of the six defendants on trial took a plea deal.
