Interview: Link Centre hosting pianist and composer Nathan Cheung
SUMMARY: The Link Center is excited to host Dr. Nathan Chung, an internationally acclaimed pianist and composer, on Saturday at 7:30 PM as part of their monthly music mix. Dr. Chung, a doctor of music from the Eastman School, has taught at Indiana University and is known for his engaging personality, playing styles from classical to jazz, and improvising based on audience suggestions. The concert will feature local artist Trey Henkins and lasts about 90 minutes with an intermission. The event is sponsored by Chris and Holly Hallmark, and doors open at 7 PM for drinks and socializing.

Aberdeen woman killed after Tuesday afternoon wreck
SUMMARY: Leila Pate, a 73-year-old woman, tragically died in a car accident on Tuesday afternoon. Her vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree near Tail Road, close to Adams Road. The coroner, Alan Gurley, confirmed her death, and noted that a passenger from the car sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital in Memphis.

Corinth man killed in Arkansas plane crash
SUMMARY: Breaking news from Arkansas reports that Robert Matys, a 68-year-old man, died in a plane crash north of Little Rock. The incident occurred Tuesday when Matys was traveling from Fayetteville. The crash site, located in rugged terrain near the Van Buren and Stone County Line, made it challenging for ground teams to reach him, taking over four hours to arrive after descending a cliff. The Federal Aviation Administration is currently investigating the incident. Matys was a retired doctor, likely associated with Magnolia Regional Health in Corinth.
