UofL basketball wins second exhibition game against Spalding

Man pleads guilty to federal charges related to deadly drunk driving crash in Louisville
SUMMARY: Michael DeWitt, the man accused of killing 17-year-old Madelyn Trout while driving under the influence, has pleaded guilty to federal charges. Kentucky expects high voter turnout for election
SUMMARY: Voting is underway in Kentucky for the general election, with over 16,000 residents participating in in-person excused absentee voting last weekโa 114% increase from 2022. Additionally, over 130,000 Kentuckians have requested absentee ballots. Secretary of State Michael Adams indicates that high turnout is expected. Excused in-person absentee voting will continue through Wednesday, while in-person no excuse absentee voting begins Thursday and lasts until November 2nd.

Dog thrown out of moving vehicle on Newtown Pike in Lexington
