Absentee voting deadlines loom in Mississippi
SUMMARY: With the November 2024 election just a week away, county leaders are urging residents to vote. Absentee voting deadlines are approaching, and circuit clerk offices will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. The final day for absentee voting is Saturday, November 2nd, and all mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, November 5th. On Election Day, polls will operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Construction on Natchez Trace bridge underway in Lee County
