Early morning crash in Columbus leaves one person injured

One killed in shooting at Adams County gas station
SUMMARY: Adams County deputies are investigating a fatal shooting at the Shell gas station in Natchez, Mississippi, which occurred on Friday, October 25. Sheriff Travis Patten reported that the incident began when James Keating accidentally knocked over a cup of ice belonging to the suspect, leading to an argument. After Keating left to retrieve a handgun, he confronted the suspect inside the store, resulting in a physical altercation where the suspect shot him multiple times. Keating was found deceased inside the store, while the suspect was detained. Authorities are consulting with the District Attorney’s Office regarding possible charges.

PRVWSD issues boil water notice for more than 4,000 customers
SUMMARY: A boil water notice has been issued for subdivisions in the Pelahatchie Bay water system #610036 in Rankin County, Mississippi, due to a 10″ water main break reported on October 28. The Pearl River Valley Water Supply District (PRVWSD) announced that approximately 4,319 water connections are affected by this notice.
