Police say man who shot, killed person tells SAPD he did so in self-defense
SUMMARY: Early this morning, a deadly shooting occurred in a parking lot on Mission Road in San Antonio. A fight broke out between the victim and another man, during which the suspect allegedly shot the victim, claiming self-defense. The suspect stated that the victim threatened to shoot others and attempted to run people over with his car. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are still investigating the incident, and charges against the suspect may be forthcoming.
