While this biplane’s flying days are over, its historical importance remains vital to Baldwin County, designated as a World War II heritage site.

The N3N biplane, built in 1941, has been absent from the skies for many decades, but the Naval trainer called the “Yellow Peril” was once a frequent site around Foley and Barin Field.
