Sarah Boone verdict: Jury makes decision in 60 minutes in Florida suitcase murder trial

Jurors deliberated for about an hour Friday night to decide whether Sarah Boone was guilty or not of murder in the Feb. 2020 death of her boyfriend, Jorge Torres. Boone zipped her boyfriend inside a suitcase and despite it pleas to get out, did not unzip the luggage, the state testified. Instead, she went upstairs and went to bed. She found Torres dead inside the suitcase the next day.

Several Florida beaches reopening after Hurricane Milton

Woman jumped from Taylor Swift-themed cruise ship, U.S. Coast Guard says
SUMMARY: The Coast Guard confirmed that a 66-year-old woman who fell overboard from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Allure of the Seas intentionally jumped. The ship docked at Port Miami this morning. Passengers described the subsequent search and rescue mission as chaotic, with crews utilizing boats and planes in darkness. Witnesses noted a significant presence of security and concerned individuals on deck. The incident unfolded from deck five, where the rescue boat was launched. As of now, the identity of the woman has not been disclosed.
The name of the 66-year-old has yet to be released.
