U.S. confirms North Korea troops are in Russia | FOX 7 Austin
SUMMARY: The U.S. confirms that North Korean troops, estimated at 3,000, are currently training in Russia, likely to support its operations in Ukraine. South Korean intelligence indicates that Russia is preparing to deploy more North Korean soldiers, potentially increasing their numbers to 10,000 by December. These troops are reportedly being trained in basic military operations and advanced tactics, including drone warfare. The collaboration suggests Russia’s manpower shortages. Ukraine’s president warns that North Korea’s involvement in the conflict underscores a lack of international pressure on Moscow and urges other nations to strengthen their support for peace efforts.
The U.S. says North Korean troops are in Russia right now but the Defense Department is unsure of their exact mission. The assumption is that they’re trying to help Russia in its war with Ukraine. FOX’s Rebekah Castor has the latest.

'Correcting falsehoods': TX Attorney General addressing TX death row case
SUMMARY: Brandon Roberson’s execution for allegedly murdering his 2-year-old daughter, Nikki Curtis, was postponed to allow him to testify before lawmakers. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is advocating for Roberson’s execution, citing evidence of blunt force trauma as the cause of Nikki’s death, along with a released autopsy report. However, State Representative Joe Moody challenges Paxton’s assertions, labeling them as exaggerations and misinformation. Advocates for Roberson argue he was wrongfully convicted due to flawed science, suggesting Nikki may have died from undiagnosed pneumonia instead. Roberson awaits a new execution date while the legal proceedings continue.
Latest updates on the pending execution of Robert Robertson, who was charged for killing his daughter in a shaken baby syndrome case over 20 years ago.

Victim of fake dentist from Katy speaks out on nightmare experience
SUMMARY: A woman shared her harrowing experience after undergoing a painful root canal performed by Anel Vivas, who is now facing felony charges for practicing dentistry without a license. Following the procedure, the woman experienced severe pain and complications, requiring multiple emergency surgeries and visits to a neurologist due to facial numbness. She filed a police report in September, revealing that Vivas misrepresented herself as a licensed dentist and placed patients under anesthesia. The victim urges others, particularly in the Hispanic community, to be cautious of cheaper dental options, warning of the potential dangers. Authorities believe there may be more victims.
The judge said Angelica Vivas, 46, also put the patient under anesthesia several times and offered to perform dental work on an undercover officer.
