Tracking morning fog potential and how warm our days will be
SUMMARY: This weekend promises exciting events, including a Taylor Swift concert and Reggae Fest, with pleasant weather conditions. Current temperatures are around 79°F in town and slightly cooler in nearby areas, with some fog expected in the mornings due to high humidity. While temperatures will be warm, reaching highs of 85°F, mornings will be cooler in the 50s and 60s. Patrons should stay hydrated and consider sunscreen during outdoor festivities. Sunday will feature the Po’ Boy Fest, with evening temperatures cooling to around 70°F. A slim chance of rain may appear next week, including Halloween. Overall, it’s an enjoyable weekend ahead.

Monroe Regional Airport to receive $2.5 million grant
SUMMARY: Senator Bill Cassidy announced that Louisiana has been awarded over $20 million from an FAA grant, sourced from the airport terminal program in the infrastructure investment and jobs act. New-look San Antonio Spurs set for season opener against Dallas Mavericks
