SUMMARY: A man found dead in an East Nashville intersection has been identified as 59-year-old James Sutton. Metro Police are actively investigating his death, which occurred at the intersection of South Fifth and Russell streets. Sutton, who was physically assaulted by another man before falling into the road, later died at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Authorities have reviewed surveillance footage and are currently searching for a suspect. They urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
