SUMMARY: Mississippi residents can vote absentee on Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 at local circuit clerk offices from 8 a.m. to noon. Weekday absentee voting is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eligible voters include military members, their families, disabled veterans, students, and others requiring absence on Election Day. As of now, 86,525 absentee ballots have been requested, with 67,802 returned. Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day and received within five business days.
