Dallas invests $325 million in new park

SUMMARY: Excitement builds in North as plans for a long-awaited park by the Trinity floodway are finally underway. The $325 million , funded through private and public investments, will include overlooks, skateboard parks, splash pads, roller rinks, and gardens. A bridge will connect the overlooks to the river. The initiative aims to create 530 and attract 4-6 million visitors annually, enhancing , community, and economic growth. It will also promote sustainability with 1,600 trees and significant energy savings for Dallas. Construction begins with some building demolitions and is expected to be completed in three years.

Skateboard parks, splash pads, roller rinks, and gardens are just a few things North Texans will be able to enjoy at the new Harold Simmons park along the Trinity River in Dallas. Demolition began and the project will take around 3 years to complete.

Communications tower involved in Houston helicopter crash had recently been sold
