The Culinary Art of Left Overs
SUMMARY: As food prices rise, frugal cooks can utilize leftovers to create affordable and delicious family meals. Instead of relegating leftovers to the back of the fridge, purposely prepare extra food to repurpose in various dishes. Almost any food can be re-served, with exceptions for seafood and certain perishable fruits and vegetables. Creative leftover ideas include salads, sandwiches, pasta, and appetizers. For instance, rotisserie chicken can be transformed into chicken salad or soup, while leftover beans can be sautéed with various vegetables for a hearty meal. Embrace creativity and save money while delighting your family.

31 Years of Fall de Rah
SUMMARY:
Downtown Moss Point is celebrating the 31st annual Fall de Rah, an event designed to engage locals and visitors with festive decorations throughout the city. Initiated in 2003, the celebration features whimsical scenes, many of which encourage child interaction, becoming a cherished tradition for families traveling from the Mississippi Coast and Alabama. Linda Walsh and Brenda Kay Ramm from the Moss Point Celebrations Committee highlight its generational appeal. The event receives support from the city and local artists, with new displays at the corner of Dantzler and Main Street. Scenes will remain until they transition to Christmas by the River in December.
