Starkville PD makes arrests in connection to recent auto burglaries

Pierce Street Elementary hosts ‘Dancing with the King’

SUMMARY: Principal Anthony Golding of ‘s Pierce Street Elementary has embraced ballroom dance, expanding lessons to fourth and fifth graders. Inspired by their enthusiasm, he participated as a celebrity dancer in the “Dancing with the King” , for weeks with pro-instructor Tammy Wilson. Golding selected “C’mon Everybody” from “Viva Las Vegas” to himself and promote dance education. He believes ballroom dancing fosters teamwork and helps find their passions. The program has successfully introduced dance lessons to six schools in Lee County and Tupelo, encouraging other institutions to participate for student .
