Suspect burglar caught in the act | FOX 5 News

SUMMARY: A man named Anthony Scott McDill, 51, was for repeatedly burglarizing a vacant house in Kawia County, belonging to an elderly relative of the caretakers. Sheriff’s deputies responding to a routine check heard glass breaking and witnessed McDill attempting to escape through a rear window. Upon confronting him, he broke multiple windows in a desperate attempt to evade capture. The deputies eventually apprehended him after surrounding the home. McDill faces charges of burglary and criminal as the inside showed signs of him to barricade himself. The Sheriff’s Office commended the deputies for their vigilance.

Drug kingpin Big Meech released from federal prison

SUMMARY: Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory was recently released from prison after serving nearly 20 years for running a major criminal enterprise, the Black Mafia (BMF), which spanned several states Atlanta and Detroit. BMF, active during the late 80s to early 2000s, was notorious for drug trafficking and even had a record label and magazine. In 2006, the brothers Demetrius and Terry were indicted on RICO charges, receiving 30-year sentences. Terry was released in 2020, and Big Meech is now serving the remainder of his sentence in a halfway house in Miami. His story inspired a popular TV show filmed in Atlanta.

Demetrius โ€œBig Meechโ€ Flenory, who co-founded the notorious drug trafficking organization Black Mafia Family, will serve the remainder of his prison sentence in a residential reentry program in Miami, according to the Federal of Prisons.

Flenory, 56, was originally to 30 years in prison his 2008 conviction for drug trafficking and money laundering. He was recently transferred to the residential program in Miami.

Judge to release Trump dossier Friday | FOX 5 News
