Troy Johnson found guilty on all counts
SUMMARY: A Lamar County jury found Troy Johnson guilty on six counts, including two attempted murder charges, related to a 2012 incident where he shot and wounded Deputy Steve Posos during a foot chase. The jury’s verdict came after Posos testified about the events, which included video evidence from both body and dash cameras capturing the shooting. Johnson was arrested following a three-hour manhunt after the shooting, in which Posos was struck in the side but made a full recovery. Today, he presented his blood-stained vest to the jury as part of the proceedings.
