DA Willis fights to reinstate charges for Trump | FOX 5 News

SUMMARY: Fulton County DA Fani Willis is seeking to have six charges against former President Donald Trump and five others reinstated. Judge Scott McAfee had previously ruled that the solicitation charges in the 2020 election interference case were too vague, hindering the defendants’ ability to defend themselves. Willis argues that the charges clarify the defendants’ actions and would enable an intelligent defense. Prosecutors contend that Trump and others unlawfully pressured Georgia officials to hold a special legislative session for appointing pro-Trump electors. There is currently no timeline for the appeals court’s ruling on this matter.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has filed an appeal in a judges decision to toss several charges against former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants in the Georgia election interference case.

Symptoms for RSV, flu, and COVID-19 overlap, making diagnosis challenging. Health officials recommend annual flu vaccinations and good hygiene practices to protect against these illnesses. Additionally, the CDC is monitoring outbreaks of norovirus and sporadic cases of bird flu, though the public risk remains low.
