What you need to know about how missing person cases are handled & prioritized
SUMMARY: Authorities continue searching a Southeast Bear County landfill for Suzanne Simpson, missing since October 6, amid confidence from the Almost Park Police Chief that they will eventually recover her remains. The investigation follows a reported altercation with her husband, Brad Simpson, who faces assault charges but not charges related to her disappearance. As the search resumes tomorrow, a San Antonio police agent discussed the handling of missing persons cases, emphasizing that prioritization depends on perceived danger. The case also highlights ongoing issues related to domestic violence, which remains a significant concern in the community.
Questions are rising regarding how law enforcement handles cases of missing people and how they prioritize them.

Collin Allred, Ted Cruz on the economy, January 6 in U.S. Senate debate
SUMMARY: In their first and only debate, Congressman Colin Allred challenged Senator Ted Cruz on issues such as abortion, inflation, and the economy, as Cruz seeks a third Senate term. Allred criticized Cruz for not effectively addressing rising healthcare costs, particularly for insulin, while Cruz accused Allred of being ineffective in Congress and blamed the Biden administration for inflation. They also discussed the January 6 Capitol attack, with Allred emphasizing the importance of accountability for violence.
