North Carolina Forecast: Season's coolest temperatures expected from Tuesday to Friday

SUMMARY: Meteorologist Chris Michaels reports that Comet A3 can be seen in the Western sky after sunset until October 24th. Observers may need night mode on their smartphones but some can see it with the naked eye from darker . Tonight, expect increased clouds and a of nighttime rain due to a cold front, with temperatures dropping to the 50s. Rain showers will be present during the morning commute, but skies will clear by midday. Wednesday’s high is forecasted at 59ยฐF, the coolest since March. Expect even cooler temperatures on Thursday and Friday mornings, with the Fair starting Thursday at 62ยฐF.

The coolest of the season (so far) is set to arrive from Tuesday through at least Friday morning. For Tuesday we can expect sunny skies in the morning, with increasing clouds in the afternoon, leading to mostly cloudy to overcast conditions. There’s a slight chance of spotty rain in our northwestern counties later in the day. High temperatures will be in the lower to mid-60s.

As Tuesday night approaches conditions will turn cloudy and cooler, with light rain likely later in the evening and continuing through daybreak on Wednesday.

Village District could become Raleigh's second social district
