Suspect caught after overnight chase leads to search in Piedmont
SUMMARY: Overnight, police pursued a suspect from Warr Acres to Piedmont, beginning around 3:00 AM along Northwest Expressway. The search initiated near Sarah Road and Northwest 206th Street involved Warr Acres Police, Oklahoma City Police, and the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office, who set up a perimeter and deployed a helicopter. The suspect was taken into custody around 4:00 AM, although authorities have not yet disclosed the reason for the pursuit. Woman shot & killed by officers after crash & gunfire
