Georgia continues to look favorable for Trump | Georgia
SUMMARY: As early voting starts in Georgia, former President Donald Trump is leading Vice President Kamala Harris by 1% in the Project 538 polling average, marking a shift from Harris’ earlier lead. Georgia is a pivotal swing state in the 2024 election, with Trump currently outperforming his 2020 polling. While he is ahead in North Carolina, Georgia, and Arizona, Harris leads by less than 1% in four other key states. Both parties are ramping up campaigning efforts; Trump is visiting Georgia, and Democrats, including Bill Clinton, are mobilizing to secure support. Predictive models give Trump a 63-64% chance of winning Georgia.

Memorials remain outside the school for the two students and two teachers lost on September 4th. Supportive efforts from community members, like free senior photos, aim to uplift student spirits. Meanwhile, safety concerns persist, prompting the Barrow County School District to hire additional resource officers and consider further safety measures. Early voting begins this week in Georgia
SUMMARY: Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are visiting Georgia this week as early voting begins. A political expert notes that while many voters have already decided, early voting significantly impacts turnout. In recent years, early voting has increased in Georgia, with over 1.8 million votes in 2018, nearly 2.7 million in the 2020 presidential election, and more than 2.2 million in 2022. Residents cite flexibility in early voting locations as a key reason to participate. Early voting starts tomorrow, with requests for absentee ballots due by October 25 and ballots needed by November 5.
