SUMMARY: A 49-year-old man from Nevada was arrested at a security checkpoint outside a Donald Trump rally in Coachella, California, with a shotgun, loaded handgun, ammunition, and several fake passports in his unregistered SUV. He claimed to be a journalist, but it was unclear if he had proper credentials. Although he made it past an outer security boundary, deputies stopped him at an inner perimeter. He was arrested on suspicion of possessing a loaded firearm and a high-capacity magazine, but was released on $5,000 bail the same day.
