Huntsville Hospital Health System Terminates Contract with United Healthcare | Oct. 10, 2024 | News

The follows failed negotiations, with Huntsville United Healthcare has not fulfilled its contractual obligations, citing high denial rates on patient claims. Conversely, United Healthcare argues that Huntsville’s demand for a significant fee increase of over 25% is unreasonable, as they are already among the most expensive providers in the region. Both parties claim they are committed to further negotiations to reach an agreement, which will affect various insurance plans starting October 15.

After negotiations between the hospital and the insurer, Huntsville Hospital Health System has sent โ€œnotice of terminationโ€ to United Healthcare.

Man Arrested in Madison Following Several Reports of Car, Business Break-Ins | Oct. 10, 2024 | News
