Hurricane Milton slams Florida Wednesday evening and Alabama waits for a cold outbreak next week
SUMMARY: Tropical Storm Milton is impacting Florida, particularly Manatee and Sarasota counties, with anticipated winds exceeding 120 mph in the northern eyewall. The storm, currently about 35 miles offshore, is projected to affect the southern Orlando area around 1-2 AM, bringing hurricane-force winds to nearby theme parks. Trial Set For Man Charged With Trying To Kill Ex- Wife | October 9, 2024 | News 19 at 4 p.m.

Man Arrested After Hit-And-Run | October 9, 2024 | News 19 at 4 p.m.
SUMMARY: A driver has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run incident involving a 16-year-old boy in Huntsville, who remains in critical condition. The driver, Gerry Monroe Severance, faces charges of second-degree assault and leaving the scene of an accident.
