Hearing for Jose Ibara postponed | FOX 5 News

SUMMARY: The hearing for Jose Ibba, accused of killing nursing student Leak and Riley, has been postponed to November 1st. Initially scheduled for this Friday, the hearing primarily aimed to discuss DNA testing. As of last week, neither the defense nor the prosecution had received the DNA evidence data. State prosecutors previously announced they had a thumbprint from Riley’s phone, DNA from her fingernails, and video footage linking Ibba to the crime. However, Ibba’s attorney argues that the DNA evidence is unreliable.

A hearing has been postponed for the man accused of killing nursing student Laken Riley. The hearing for Jose Ibarra was originally set for this Friday to discuss DNA testing.
