Salute highlighting healthy menu items
SUMMARY: In the 4:00 show kitchen, Rob Stinson showcases a healthy menu item from Salute: blackened mahi with shrimp Basilico sauce. The dish features beautifully seared mahi, which is best served rare, and a garlic-infused shrimp sauce resembling shrimp scampi, made with fresh tomatoes and basil, representing the colors of the Italian flag. This healthy option is gluten-free, using rice flour, accommodating those with dietary restrictions, especially Celiac disease. Stinson emphasizes that healthy food can be delicious and creative, moving away from the idea of bland meals. The segment highlights variety and choices in healthy dining.
