Fine fall weather continues, checking tropics, and tracking our next fall front
SUMMARY: A recent weather update indicated that the tropics are currently quiet, with no significant storms expected in the Caribbean or Gulf of Mexico over the next week. Temperatures are pleasant, with lows in the 50s and highs reaching into the mid-80s. Clear skies are anticipated for the coming days, making for perfect weather. A weak front may approach early next week, bringing cooler temperatures, potentially dropping into the 40s in some areas. Overall, a warm-up is forecasted before the front arrives, leading to a chilly midweek. The upcoming weekend looks sunny and ideal for outdoor activities.
Meteorologist Devon Lucie recaps some of the most eye opening stats from Hurricane Milton’s impacts on Florida, then takes a look at the wide tropical view where he’s still monitoring what was once Milton, Tropical Storm Leslie, and an area that has a low chance of development, then takes us back to Southeast Louisiana where he steps us through how long this nice fall weather lasts, then tracks and times our next fall front letting you know when it arrives and how much colder air it will bring, then finishes with the seven day forecast tying it all together.
