Parents seek justice for 20 year old intentionally ran over in Horry Co parking lot
SUMMARY: Rudy Lopez, a 20-year-old, was tragically killed by a stolen car driven by Austin Coleman in Little River on September 19, 2023. The parents of Rudy Alexander Salguero Lopez, a 20-year-old killed in Horry County, are grappling with an unimaginable loss as they seek justice for their son.

Hurricane Milton regains strength; SC watches posted
SUMMARY: Hurricane Milton is currently a Category 5 storm, with all of Central Florida under hurricane watch or warning. Chief Meteorologist Chris Justus reports that the storm has undergone an eyewall replacement cycle, temporarily weakening from 180 mph to 165 mph winds. It is expected to make landfall between 11 PM tomorrow and 3 AM Thursday, causing significant impacts from Sarasota to Tampa and Fort Myers. Behind-the-scenes look at South Carolina power company's work to repair outages 11 after Helene
SUMMARY: In Henderson County, power restoration efforts are underway as crews work tirelessly from sunrise to sunset. Reporter Isabelle Marak accompanied a Blue Ridge Electric crew from South Dakota, comprising 20 linemen who volunteered for 16-hour days. They face unique challenges, including accessing areas with downed power lines using four-wheelers. Over 600 external personnel are assisting with the restoration. Residents have shown appreciation for the crews, eagerly awaiting the power to be restored, which is expected in the next day or so. After power restoration, cleanup of tree debris and damaged poles will begin.
About 20 linemen from East River Electric traveled from South Dakota to help restore power in Pickens County, South Carolina.
