SUMMARY: Hurricane Moulton, currently a Category Four hurricane with sustained winds of 150 mph, is projected to weaken as it approaches Florida. Expected to maintain its strength as it moves toward landfall late tomorrow or early Thursday near Tampa, it could bring severe impacts, storm surges of 10 to 15 feet in Tampa and 6 to 10 feet towards Fort Myers. Rainfall may reach between 5 inches to a from Tampa to Orlando. Locally, conditions remain dry, with no expected impacts from the hurricane, and temperatures in the low 80s with morning lows dipping into the 50s.
