Broadway Jackson cancels 2024-25 season
SUMMARY: Broadway Jackson announced the cancellation of the 2024-25 season at Thalia Mara Hall due to safety concerns after mold was discovered earlier this month. With no alternative venue in Mississippi, six of the seven planned events are canceled. Improvements are being sought, and a plan has been submitted to address various issues, including fire codes. However, a holiday concert featuring Mannheim Steamroller Christmas will be held at the Mississippi Coliseum on December 27. Season ticket holders will receive full refunds within 10 to 15 days for their purchases. Future events will resume only when safety is assured.
