Natchez man killed during four-wheeler crash
SUMMARY: A Natchez man, identified as 21-year-old Jordan Sanders, died following a four-wheeler crash on Tate Road around 10:00 p.m. on October 7. According to reports, he was taken to Merit Health Natchez after the accident but succumbed to his injuries. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, as stated by Adams County Coroner James Lee.

Two men face various charges of theft in Oxford
SUMMARY: Two Oxford men, 22-year-old Caleb Carrothers and 20-year-old Demarcus Govan, face multiple charges after a series of vehicle thefts. On September 24, police investigated a motor vehicle theft and linked the duo to another theft, with evidence of stolen personal items from various vehicles. Following two additional theft reports on September 29, both men were charged with commercial burglary, two counts of motor vehicle theft, and three counts of conspiracy to commit crimes. The Municipal Court Judge set their bond, and the investigation continues.

Man wanted for stabbing woman to death inside Jackson home
SUMMARY: Jackson police have issued an arrest warrant for Anthony Jerome Bunzy, 40, connected to the stabbing death of 58-year-old Margaret Washington in her home on September 23, 2024. Detective Tommie Brown stated that Bunzy is known to frequent the I-55 South corridor and Cooper Road area. Authorities believe Bunzy stole Washington’s vehicle, which was later recovered in South Jackson. The police urge anyone with information on Bunzy’s whereabouts to contact the Jackson Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
