LMPD: Shooting in the Park Duvall neighborhood leaves 1 dead, 1 injured
SUMMARY: In the Park Hill neighborhood, a deadly shooting occurred tonight, prompting a search for the suspect. The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) reported that a man and woman were found shot inside a house on Dumesnil Street, near 23rd Street, shortly after 8 PM. The woman succumbed to her injuries at the University of Louisville Hospital, while the man underwent surgery, with his current condition unknown. Authorities are asking anyone with information to assist in the investigation.

Man arrested after deadly Henry County crash
SUMMARY: Two people died in a crash in Henry County on Friday night when a motorcycle, driven by 40-year-old Austin D, was struck by a pickup truck after crossing the center line. Austin was pronounced dead at the scene, while 31-year-old Holly Hawkins, a passenger on the motorcycle, later died in the hospital. The 21-year-old driver of the pickup truck, Trustin Hassenauer, was arrested and is currently in the Oldham County Detention Center facing charges of murder and DUI.
