Swastika spray painted in Tupelo park
SUMMARY: A swastika, a widely recognized symbol of hate, was discovered spray-painted in Hancock Park, Tupelo, by a group of kids. The vandalism, which also included graffiti on a picnic table, was captured on a police camera last Tuesday. Authorities are seeking the community’s assistance to identify the responsible individuals, as the incident has raised significant concerns. The Parks and Recreation director commented that such acts undermine recent investments in local parks. Tupelo Police Chief John Ccka emphasized the seriousness of the crime and the importance of public help in addressing the issue.

Jacksonville, FL Under Tropical Storm Warning, Storm Surge Warning Ahead Hurricane Milton
SUMMARY: Hurricane Milton is expected to transition across Florida from the West Coast to the East Coast, maintaining hurricane force winds. Jacksonville Beach is currently under a tropical storm and storm surge warning. To the south, from Ponto V Beach to Indian River, hurricane warnings are in effect. The First Coast could experience a surge of 3 to 5 feet, with risks extending to Georgia. If this surge coincides with high tide and heavy rainfall, flooding may occur, particularly along the St. John River in Jacksonville. Meteorologist J. Carfagno from The Weather Channel reports on these conditions.
