Wednesday will remain hot, with highs in the mid to upper 80s and lower 90s, along with a slight chance of rain late at night. Hurricane Milton already makes history as storm quickly strengthens
SUMMARY: Hurricane Milton is rapidly intensifying, now classified as a Category 5 storm with sustained winds of 180 mph and gusts up to 220 mph. Field meteorologist Michael Armstrong highlighted its historic growth over a short time, placing it among severe storms like Katrina and Rita. Woman critically burned in SE OKC house fire
SUMMARY: Firefighters noticed smoke in the sky and responded to the area near Southeast 44th and Scheels, where they discovered a house on fire. Upon arrival, they also found a woman who had sustained serious burns. She was quickly transported to the hospital in critical condition. Fire crews worked diligently to extinguish the blaze.
