Students in Saltillo paint rocks to support fellow student battling cancer
SUMMARY: Students at Saltillo Primary School are demonstrating their support for a classmate battling cancer by painting rocks during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Second graders created these artistic rocks to send to their friend, who will take them to St. Jude Children‘s Research Hospital during his next appointment. At the hospital, patients can hide these rocks for others to find, spreading joy and encouragement. This initiative not only fosters community support among the students but also aligns with the hospital’s efforts to create a positive environment for young patients facing cancer.
