SUMMARY: Black Mountain, Buncombe County, has implemented a curfew from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. due to increased crime and safety concerns following power outages. Local resident concerns highlight issues with crime, as many families have evacuated, leaving a few who remain vulnerable in dark conditions. A resident reported encountering trespassers attempting to enter homes, emphasizing the lack of street and porch lights, which contributes to feelings of insecurity.
