2024 US Election | Harris arrives in Wisconsin, Trump travels to Michigan
SUMMARY: The January 6 Riot and Donald Trump’s election overturning efforts are central to current political campaigns. Trump is campaigning in Michigan, while Vice President Kamala Harris seeks support from disenchanted Republican voters in Rippin, Wisconsin. Former Congresswoman Liz Cheney joins Harris, arguing Trump’s actions should disqualify him. Recent court filings reveal Trump allegedly committed crimes to remain in power, and he continues to claim he won the 2020 election. Meanwhile, Harris promotes reproductive rights, while Melania Trump surprisingly endorses women’s rights in a video. If elected, Harris promises to enact nationwide abortion legislation.
The Jan. 6 riot and former president Donald Trump‘s efforts to overturn the election are taking center stage ahead of November’s presidential election.
